NEWS – Easter Theatre Festival 2026 is in the planing!

 

We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news! The Easter Theatre Festival team has received 128 applications from talented artists and theatre groups across the globe — including Spain, Portugal, Malawi, South Africa, Eswatini, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Egypt, Ireland, and Brazil.

The diversity, creativity, and passion reflected in these submissions have truly amazed us. Every single application tells a story, brings a unique perspective, and celebrates the power of performance and community. It’s clear that the 2026 edition of the Easter Theatre Festival is going to be nothing short of extraordinary.

We are now carefully reviewing all applications and curating what promises to be a spectacular line-up for next year. Soon, we’ll be ready to announce the selected artists who will take part in the Easter Theatre Festival 2026, happening from 27–29 March 2026 in Blantyre.
